This is me! My names Adam, but will also respond to Bosley, Boz, or Captain Boz.
I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in clinical exercise physiology. After graduation, I went on to work in several different areas within the health care sector, including physical rehabilitation, athletic training, and sports medicine. Currently, I am working towards a nursing degree with plans on eventually pursuing an advanced degree in sports medicine and orthopedics. This is an area I am truly passionate about and love to integrate my fitness knowledge with my medical knowledge to educate patients about health and wellness.
I found a love for running and triathlon after graduation and never looked back. My first triathlon was a local sprint triathlon in 2011. Since then, I have gone on to qualify for the Boston Marathon and finished 4th place in my age group at Ironman Lake Placid. I have big goals and dreams to one day make it to Kona and find out how I fare against the challenges of the Big Island.
When I’m not pursuing my career you can probably find me hitting the running trails, biking around the farmlands of Harford County, or trying out the latest fitness trends at my local gym.
Check back often to find out what I’m up to. Follow me on my blog, Twitter, and Facebook as I chase my dream to Kona.
